Parana Business Collection powers the South fashion market

In its 17th edition, Parana Business Collection (PBC) happens between November 6th and 10th, at Fiep‘s headquarters (Industry Federation of the State of Parana). With the theme “A moda de corpo inteiro (Full body fashion)”, the event, which now has two annual editions, seeks to attract the attention to the accessories as well as the clothing. Texbrasil (Brazilian Fashion Industry Export Program), developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), invited the Argentine journalist Victoria Lescano, from the newspaper Pagina 12, to join the fashion week.

The fashion show line up includes ten names of the most important local brands, which will exhibit their A/W 2013 collections. There event will also have the showroom area with a new design compered to the one presented on the previous editions. For the first time, the space includes brands from Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina. It will be about 50 exhibitors from men and womenswear, jeanswear, childrenswear,  fitnesswear, knitwear and accessories. In addition, the exhibition Idea Moda will present the work of eight new designers.

PBC also hosts the 20th fashion update cycle, that debates the themes fast-fashion, coolhunting and styling, with the presence of names such as the creator of the Brazilian glasses and watches brand Chilli Beans, Caito Maia, researcher of trends Paula Abbas and the journalist and professor Silvana Holzmeister.

The event is a realization of Fiep through The Sectorial Council of Textile and Apparel Industry of Parana and Sebrae/PR (supporting service for micro and small businesses in the state of Parana).
