Patricia Bonaldi shows new bridal and evening wear collection at fashion show in São Paulo

09/10/2018

Tangara (3)Last Tuesday, PatBo showed its Wedding and Evening collection at Palacio Tangara in São Paulo, at an invite-only show. The brand is a member of Texbrasil (Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program) – the result of a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).

In addition to the traditional stone embroidery done by designer Patricia Bonaldi, who heads the PatBo brand, the collection featured lots of transparency in tulle and lace along with structured corsets. The color portfolio went from white to washed out tones for bridal gowns and evening looks. According to Patricia, creations were made using a poetic eye. “I wanted to give new meaning to lace, tulle, stones and pearls by using transparencies and some deeper necklines,” she says.

Patricia was also responsible for the show’s styling. Vivara supplied the jewelry and accessories, including tiaras, necklaces and rings, and even created a rosary for the occasion. Hair and makeup was done by hairstylist Marcos Proenca, a star in the bridal world, who used a minimalist look.
