Ponto Zero brands join Texbrasil

05/15/2013

Helen Rodel and Spirodiro are the newest members of Texbrasil (Brazilian Fashion Industry Export Program), a program developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency). These brands are part of Ponto Zero – a Casa de Criadores and Mercado Mundo Mix project – whose aim to discover new fashion and design artists.

Spirodiro is a children’s brand created by designer Silvia Ferraz, which transforms clothing into entertainment for kids. The brand was the winner of one of the editions of the contest and has already held a runway show at an event in Portugal. Helen Rodel is a women’s wear designer headquartered in Rio Grande do Sul; she is part of a project created by the Program to develop and train new talent in fashion: Texbrasil Showcase.

Both will hold runway shows and present their collections in London and Paris in early July, along with other Ponto Zero brands: Karin Feller, Gralias, Cinthia Hayashi, Gabriela Sakate, Trendt and Der Metropol.
