Premiere Brasil ends its seventh edition
With Premiere Vision’s seal of approval, Premiere Brasil ended its seventh edition on the 23rd of January. Bringing together the key trends and best manufacturers of yarns, fibers, fabrics, knitwear and accessories, the tradeshow, which took place at Expo Center Norte in Sao Paulo, received international buyers and journalists brought by Texbrasil – Brazilian Fashion Industry Export Program, developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).
“Sao Paulo is a very propitious city for the realization of this type of event because it is a pulsed and mixed city. It is the ideal place to launch colors and fabrics”, says Jose Miguel considered Mardones, from CNN (Chile). Besides him, Esteban Calabrano Godoy, also from CNN, Nelson Arcila Doria, from the newspaper El Tiempo (Colombia), Aldo Marisol Grau, from El Comercio (Peru), and Noel Folken, from the magazines TanModernos and Luz (Argentina) came to town to know the trade exhibits and the showrooms of the stylists Gabriela Sakate and Cinthya Hayashi. International buyers from the stores AMC, Camacho, Lymtex and Toque D Sol also conducted visits.
Of the 55 exhibiting companies, 24 are participants of Texbrasil: Advance, Antex, Branyl, Brasilev, Canatiba, Capim, Cedro Textil, Coltex , Covolan, Farbe, Haco, Hudtelfa, Kalimo, Malhas Teda – Brazil, Renauxview , Santanense, Sao Joanense, Savyon, Sinterama, Sultextil, TDB Textil, Tecelagem Panamericana,Tecelagem Saliba and Tecnoblu. There was a Trends Forum at the trade with guidance for buyers on how to choose the best products of exhibitions, besides an exclusive lecture with the fashion director of Premiere Vision, Pascaline Wilhelm.
