Premiere Vision Paris: Brazilian companies attend event
From September 19 to 21, a Brazilian delegation will be in the French capital for the second edition of 2018 of Premiere Vision Paris. The group includes ten companies that are members of Texbrasil (Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program) and of Brazilian Leather – internationalization programs carried out through partnerships between Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) and the CICB (Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry), respectively.
A Moltec (inputs), Vicunha (textiles), Savyon (textiles), Dash Studio (prints), Estudio Icertain (prints), Estudio Lamparina (prints) and Estudio Aurum (prints), Best Brasil (leather), Nova Kaeru (leather) and Rusan (leather) are presenting their latest products at the traditional event for materials, including fabrics, inputs, leather and design.
According to Fabio Garcia, of Dash Studio, the main goal is to gain the loyalty of customers prospected at past editions. The company has participated in the event for two consecutive years. “We have great demand between the PV shows based on the contacts we make during the events. We hope that this edition is as prosperous as the others and results in good contacts,” he explains.
He also says that Dash Studio is bringing print collections to this edition that are free of seasonal references: “we no longer talk about spring/summer or fall/winter. Our customers believe that with globalization and how easy it is to move around the world, consumers are starting to demand clothing suited to various seasons, increasing their possibilities with leaner wardrobes.
According to Lilian Kaddissi, Manager at Texbrasil, the French show is an excellent showcase. “It brings together important buyers and companies from around the world and drives the European market, one of the Program’s main targets,” she says. And she adds in closing that, “at the last show, our companies had great results. We hope that this edition is even more worthwhile, especially considering the wide range of brands we are bringing.”
