Première Vision Paris: expected business of more than US$ 1 million
Nine Brazilian companies participated in Première Vision Paris, between the 4th and 6th of July, with the support of Texbrasil (Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program), the result of a partnership between ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) and Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association). The brands Stampa Studio, Studio Paraizo, Studio Icertain, Nomad Studio, Atelier Lucius Vilar, Ecosimple, Savyon, Nova Kaeru and Finileather did more than US$ 180 thousand in business, with expected returns above US$ 1.041 million in the next 12 months. All in all, 231 new contacts were established during the event.
Ecosimple’s representative, Jaqueline Lopez, celebrated the fair’s positive results and explained that the company already has new customers in an advanced negotiation phase. “We carried out a lot of contact with buyers from different markets besides Europe, such as the United States, Japan, Colombia and the Arab countries. We noticed a large presence of buyers from small businesses and ateliers (workshops), who are looking for brands with a sustainable appeal”, she details.
For Claudia Grangeiro, from Finileather, the fair is strategic for the company to open business fronts and present its new collections to its customers in the region. “More and more, we realize that those who walk through this event intend to close deals and meet new brands, we intend to participate in the next editions”, she guarantees.
Première Vision Paris is one of the most traditional fairs in Europe for suppliers of textile products and supplies for the sector. The event includes six segments: fabrics, designs (prints), leather, threads, accessories and private label. “It is a traditional event on Texbrasil’s action calendar and a great opportunity for Brazilian brands to connect with the more than 25,000 visitors who usually participate in editions”, Lilian Kaddissi, executive superintendent of strategic projects at Abit, emphasizes.
