The S/S ’18 edition of Premiere Vision Paris, one of the most traditional textile products and supplies shows in Europe, is hosting nine Brazilian brands with the support of Texbrasil – the Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, the result of a partnership between Abit and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency). Berlan, Britannia, Cataguases, Dash Studio, Digitale Textil, Moltec, Natural Cotton Color, Oficina Lamparina and Savyon are representing Brazil at the event, which will take place from February 7 to 9, at Parc Des Expositions, in France.

Digitale Textil is looking to increase its relevance in the international market and is taking part in the French show for the first time, bringing innovative bases to the show, such as super microfiber with Lycra® and microcapsules of Aloe Vera, in an effort to win over the European public. “Our big expectation is that we make good contacts at PV Paris. We are very optimistic,” says Maiara Abissamra, from the marketing area. Cataguases is also hoping to prospect new clients and markets, bringing a vast range of yarn-dyed and print products to the show. “PV is one of the biggest channels for our business in Europe. It’s where we have new meetings with clients from various regions and have the chance to show our main new products directly to them,” says Samia Cury, Marketing Coordinator.

While Dash Studio hopes to make a good impression with a colorful collection that shows the ethnic and cultural plurality of Brazil. “Using references from the Brazilian imagination and finding the right measure between the local and global product image was the overriding challenge of this collection. It will be a process for the studio to adapt to and develop for the international market,” says designer Fabio Garcia. Premiere Vision Paris is held twice a year, welcoming over 1,900 exhibitors from 57 countries and around 60,000 visitors from around the world. This edition also includes participation of the Natural Cotton Color sustainable fashion brand from Paraiba at the Maison D’Exceptions, a space dedicated to featuring work from artisans and studios focused on traditional artisanal techniques or technological innovations.
