Première Vision Paris: Positive performance strengthens Brazil’s presence on the global fashion stage
Texbrasil (Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program), a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) and ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), concluded Brazil’s participation in the September edition of Première Vision Paris with consistent commercial results and relevant insights for improving future international promotion initiatives.
Considered one of the main global showcases for the textile and creative fashion industry, Première Vision Paris brings together buyers, brands, designers, and suppliers from around the world twice a year at the Parc des Expositions Paris Nord Villepinte.
In this edition, Brazil was represented by 12 companies, which presented their creative and sustainable solutions in the fabric, leather, printing, accessories, and apparel services segments. In total, USD 268,000 in immediate business was generated and an additional USD 1.18 million is expected over the next 12 months, in addition to 325 contacts established with international buyers and partners.
Comparison with the previous edition
Compared to the February 2025 edition, which featured 16 companies and generated USD 2 million in projected business, this September edition recorded a more modest future business expectation. However, sales volume during the trade show was higher than the July 2024 edition, which had USD 124,000 in immediate business. This demonstrates the consistent performance of Brazil.
Despite some logistical challenges external to the trade show’s organization, most companies assessed their participation as positive and aligned with their internationalization strategies.
Expanding Horizons
One of the highlights of this edition was the participating companies’ interest in exploring new opportunities and markets. Some brands requested support for Paris Prints, two expressed interest in Première Vision New York, and suggestions were also made for taking part in events such as Maison&Objet and trade shows in the Middle East, China, and Munich.
This movement reinforces how recurring participation in major international trade shows encourages companies to seek new horizons, diversify markets, and increase their global competitiveness.
