For the creation of its 2017 Winter collection, the research and development team at RenauxView – a maker of fabrics and fibers that is part of Texbrasil, the Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), went to Denmark to experience the local culture. The collection, entitled Likke (“happiness” in Danish) sought to transfer the concept of “hygge” to its seasonal collection, a concept which is characterized by a slower pace of life that values time and engagement with the environment and society in a more organic and conscientious way, as well as giving more value to the simple moments in life.

Giving form to this concept through fabric, RenauxView has created products with a look dominated by faux uni dobby fabrics that use special yarns, such as flamme and bottone, with texturized structures, as well as weaves similar to linen. Cotton gives the garments a comfortable feel, bestowing a sense of modernity and technology during the cold season of the year. In womenswear, the highlight is viscose fabrics, with their fit and flow. The jacquard line comes in more than 70 varieties, from the finest to the heaviest, reinforcing the season’s characteristics of feel and appearance.

Predominated by winter colors such as variations of blue, dusty tones, and warm reds, the Santa Catarina textile company provides a variety of checkered patterns, from the smallest to the largest, developed using dyed and flannelled yarns, coming in more than 20 new designs to meet the diverse demands of the clothing market.
