Rhodia, a Solvay Group company, was awarded for its commitment to the well-being of its employees in Brazil, obtaining the Great Place to Work® certification for the second consecutive year. The certification awards the highest level of recognition of the quality of an organization’s work environment.

With 7 industrial units and a Research and Innovation Center in the country, the company manufactures chemical solutions and technological yarns for the national and international textile market, as part of Texbrasil (Program for the Internationalization of the Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry) — the result of a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) and ApexBrasil (Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency).

According to Rhodia, in the survey carried out by Great Place To Work®, its employees expressed pride in the welcoming environment and the company’s ability to make everyone feel well treated, regardless of color, ethnicity, gender and sexual orientation.

‘‘We are delighted to once again receive the Great Place to Work® certification. This demonstrates that we are on the right track to become an increasingly better company. This is only possible thanks to the effort and daily commitment of all of us, which exemplifies the cultural transformation of the company’’, says Daniela Manique, president of the Solvay Group in Latin America.

According to Manique, this new certification illustrates the Solvay One Dignity program, which aims to create a diverse, fair and inclusive workplace in all the Group’s facilities worldwide, which has been present in Brazil since 1919.
