Rio de Sol, Vix, Areia Branca and Virechic close deals in the Swim Collective
In June 13 and 14 the Swim Collective was held, a trade fair of beach and resort fashion that takes place twice a year in Los Angeles, in California. The event is a B2B marketplace that receives the main buyers from large retailers of the United States to meet the exhibiting brands.
This edition had the Brazilian brands, Rio de Sol, Vix, Areia Branca and Virechic, which received the support of Texbrasil (Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program) – the result of a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) and ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency). During the event, they transacted over USD 60K in business, with an expected of return of USD 456K throughout the year. Fifty-one (51) new contacts were made with the buyers who were present.
Vix had good results in the Swim Collective, an event in which it has participated for the second consecutive time. “We are very satisfied with the level of support and back-up that we received from the Texbrasil team for us to participate in the trade fair. We were able to schedule a lot of meetings with our partners in the region,” Cynthia Orozco, senior account executive of the brand, explains.
Guatteri Gian Marco, sales manager of Rio de Sol, highlighted that this event is important so that the company’s commercial team that operates in California may be able to receive a lot of customers all at once. “Our reversible bikinis were a success in the event,” Guatteri celebrates.
“The Swim Collective is an opportunity for us to diffuse Brazilian beach fashion for large retailers in the United States. The event allows the brands to strengthen relationships with partners in the Californian region,” Lilian Kaddisi, Abit’s executive superintendent for strategic projects, concluded.
