Riviera by Mode City joins five Brazilian brands in Cannes

From September 6 to 7, five Brazilian brands will be in Cannes to participate in Riviera by Mode City, a major French trade show geared towards beachwear companies. They are: Blue Man, Despi, Feriado Nacional, Kiminis and Maryssil. All are supported by Texbrasil, the Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, maintained by Abit and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).

This is the third edition of the event, which gathered 170 labels in 2014, drawing visits from buyers in different segments, such as multibrand stores, online stores, spas and retailers. Blue Man, Despi, Kiminis and Maryssil are already accustomed to the French market, having taken part in Brazilian Bikini Shop Summer Limited, a pop-up store located in Juan-Les-Pins, on the French Riviera. The store, open until September 10, is an initiative between Apex-Brasil, Texbrasil and Abest. The pop-up joined the cream of Brazilian beachwear, on sale during the European summer, with expectations to sell EUR 1.2 million (BRL 4.9 million) by the end of the season.
