09/17/2021

RVB Malhas, part of Texbrasil (Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program) – the result of a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Association of Textile and Apparel Industry) and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), – is celebrating 30 years of existence and is going to do a special action.

To celebrate the arrival of its third decade, the company is preparing a street race open to the public, which will take place on September 19 at its headquarters in Brusque (SC). The “RVB Race”, held in partnership with the company Corre Bem, will have three categories: 10km, 5km, and 3km.

“Everything we do is aimed at people’s welfare, care, and growth, bringing out the best in our team so that we can learn and grow together”, says brand director Ana Julia Benvenuti.

The journey

Founded in 1991 by Euclides Germano Benvenuti, RVB Malhas today is a textile industry specialized in circular knitting that employs over 500 employees in two important manufacturing facilities located in the city of Brusque, in Santa Catarina.

One of the pillars of the company throughout these 30 years has been sustainability, and RVB constantly develops practices that minimize waste generation. Among the actions developed by the brand is the implementation of technologies that consume less water and dyes in its processes, prioritizing certified products with less impact on the environment.

In addition, RVB has certifications such as the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) seal, which accompanies and validates cotton producers, and the Oeko-Tex seal, which guarantees that there are no harmful chemicals in the knitwear.
