Salão Moda Brasil 2013 welcomes international guests
From June 16 to 18, Expo Center Norte will host the Salão Moda Brasil 2013. The event is an International Showroom for underwear, beachwear, fitnesswear, textiles and notions, where over 100 leading brands in the market show their top new launches. Texbrasil (Brazilian Fashion Industry Export Program), developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), supports the event and brings journalists and international buyers to the country. David Canut of Spain’s CYL and Marco Staderini of Italy’s Íntima Magazine are part of the press group. The opinion makers will cover the event and publicize it in their home countries, with the aim of promoting Brazilian fashion and the textile industry. While the international buyers group includes Bolivia’s Sensual Lenceria, Italy’s Lunas Intimo and the Dominican Republic’s IIttierre Top Shop.
Program member brands at the Showroom include: Zanotti, Trifil, Lupo, Hope, 2 Rios, Delfa, De Chelles, Amni, Areia Dourada, Rhodia, Rosset, Sapeka Lingerie, Tecnoblu, Terlizzi, Mash, and others. Featured amid all of the new products will be plus size products, bridal lingerie, lingerie with crystals and gold and high-tech products to combat cellulite and flab. For beachwear, there will be special bikinis for Brazilian bodies, with different models, from mini to plus size, in line with summer 2014 trends. For men, there is compression underwear to hide their bellies and new underwear and sock products for the World Cup.
