Salao Moda Brasil 2016 heats up the underwear, beachwear and fitnesswear market for S/S 16-17
Salao Moda Brasil 2016 (SMB), the largest underwear, beachwear and fitnesswear event in Latin America, will be held June 19 to 21, from 12 PM to 8 PM, at Sao Paulo Expo (formerly Centro de Exposicoes Imigrantes). The venue was recently refurbished to offer functionality and comfort to exhibitors, merchants and visitors in general. The event is once again welcoming international buyers and journalists at the invitation of Texbrasil, the Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).
Journalists Mariana Schurink, of Elle Argentina, and Thais Nascimento, of the U.K.’s Underlines magazine, and buyers Pedro Garces, of Stonex (Chile), Vladimir Lazarev, of CalzeFantasia (Russia) and Lusmila Anaya Baca, from Lusmila Secret (Peru), are coming to the country to see the latest in Brazilian fashion in these segments and also to see the Texbrasil member brands at the show, who will be showing their launches for S/S 16-17. They are: De Chelles, 2 Rios, Delfa, Digitale Textil, Feriado Nacional, Hope, Marcyn, Recco Lingerie, Rosset, Intima Passion, OuseUse, Berlan and Rhodia.
Promoted and organized by New Stage Producoes e Eventos, SMB expects over 15,000 qualified professionals to attend, including specialized retail merchants, boutiques, multibrand stores, international buyers, large department stores, specialized press and opinion-makers. In its 12th edition, SMB is offering exhibitors the chance to prospect for new customers, generate business in the domestic and international markets and introduce new products, increasing visibility and strengthening the image of member brands, in addition to solidifying and strengthening business ties between suppliers and customers.
