Santista Jeanswear presents the Eco Laundry concept in new collection

06/21/2022

Santista Jeanswear, a Texbrasil company (Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program) — the result of a partnership between Abit(Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) and ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), presented sustainability as its trademark, which is even more present in the items of the Winter 2023 collection, presented at Denim City SP in May. In order to measure and bring transparency responsibly to the entire Denim chain, Santista Jeanswear has allied its sustainable processes to ECO LAUNDRY: fabrics with better performance in laundry, with significant reduction in the use of water, energy and chemicals, maintaining the appearance of an original jeans, in addition to greater possibilities of effects according to the trends.

It was possible thanks to the research of the innovation team that analyzed the entire process from cotton to finishing so that the brand could align sustainability and fashion, ensuring the best result of the Santista tones of blue.

Another novelty in its processes is the fact that the company has become the first Brazilian weaving to achieve high scores in the Light Sensitive Fabric Score (LSF) by Jeanologia®, which evaluates the performance of fabrics in sustainable processes in the criteria of luminosity, contrast, degree of white, threadbare and visual aspect. As part of a selected group of Japanese and European weavings and achieving the green score on all product lines:
