São Paulo Fashion Week announces the date and theme of the 46th edition
São Paulo Fashion Week has announced the date and news on its 46th edition. One of the largest fashion events in Brazil, it is set to take place October 22 to 26 and the theme will be transposition.
The organizers have also announced that it will move to a new venue: the show is leaving Ibirapuera Park, its long-time location, and moving to an industrial warehouse in Vila Leopoldina, in the West Zone of the city of Sao Paulo. The space formerly housed a Votorantim factory.
The location change is happening after a 50.1% stake in Sao Paulo Fashion Week was sold to Arab fund IMM Esporte e Entretenimento, of Abu Dhabi, the group responsible for holding UFC events in Brazil. This kicks off a new cycle for the event, which is celebrating its 22nd anniversary this year.
