Seven Brazilian brands are in California for Swim & Active Collective
Seven Brazilian companies are taking part in North America’s Swim & Active Collective show, from July 31 to August 1, with the support of Texbrasil (Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program), the result of a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).
The companies Charmosa, Rosset, Despi, Bia Brazil, Rio de Sol, Líquido and Sporting Way are showing their collections at the beach and fitness wear event taking place in Anaheim, a city in Orange County, California. Around 1000 specialized buyers from the USA, mostly from the West Coast, are expected to attend the trade show along with buyers from countries like Canada.
In addition to this S/S edition of Swim & Active Collective, there is also a show in January. According to Lilian Kaddissi, Executive Manager at Texbrasil, the event is a good opportunity for Brazilian beachwear companies. “It’s an interesting platform and is further removed from the circuit of other North American shows, which means it serves a good niche of buyers. We are optimistic and have a strong team that brought high value-added products,” she explains.
