Skazi presents F/W 2019 collection at Mineirão Stadium

11/07/2018

Skazi, a member brand of Texbrasil (Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program) – held through a partnership between Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) and Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association — presented it’s latest collection at Mineirão Stadium.

The brand’s new collection was inspired by the story of Lily Parr, a British athlete with over 900 goals during her career, who paved the way for women’s football in the early 20th century. Items shown brought sportswear to the runway in an off-white and neon color palette. Crop-tops with geometric cutouts were used in looks exuding the classic houndstooth print.

The fashion show’s production team featured some stars, with styling by Daniel Ueda, Ruy Furtado serving as Executive Director and Eduardo Amarante as Creative Director.

Skazi (136 de 185)New was a partnership between the label and Instituto Mario Penna, in an initiative that is part of Pink October celebrations. The show opened to the sounds Isa Guerra, formerly a contestant on The Voice. On the runway, two patients from Instituto Mario Penna and a stadium employee who is fighting cancer wore exclusive looks created by Eduardo Amarante.

The models walked the runway while Isa sang, livening up the crowd with her biggest hits.
