Skazi promotes virtual fashion show next Sunday
The Brazilian brand Skazi announced the launch of its new spring-summer collection with a virtual fashion show, which takes place this Sunday (12th), on the clothing company’s YouTube channel. Following the trends of brands and international fashion weeks, the company from Minas Gerais adapted its presentation to the digital platform, increasing its reach and avoiding physical contact.
Skazi, which is part of Texbrasil (Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program) – the result of a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) -, was inspired by the Mediterranean for new pieces.
“Presenting the collection with this theme now is a way of enabling people to get to know the Mediterranean through our eyes. We brought some of the most beautiful points of culture and aesthetics in this region rich in shapes, colors and landscapes,” comments the creative director of Skazi, Ana Paola Murta.
The Summer 21 collection was inspired by women who love to travel the world and bring references to the relaxation of the late 70s, mixed with the intensity of the early 80s.
Tailoring, the brand’s DNA is wide and comfortable and the lengths vary from mini to long. The color palette includes off white, pink, turquoise and klein blue, coral and orange. Lurex fabrics are also present, making the collection shine.
“The desire is that, until next summer arrives, these clothes can be worn as ‘in the past’: on streets, parties and other social commitments anywhere in the world,” says Murta.
According to the brand, the fashion show will be interactive, allowing the participation of customers, models, celebrities and partners, emulating an environment similar to a physical event. To maintain the fashion show “mood,” Skazi sent pieces from the collection to 70 guests, who will be present at the event.
“We asked each of them to record a video with the entire step by step of their beauty routine and choose a very beautiful place to walk at home,” says Ana Paola.
The Summer 21 collection will be available to retailers at Casa Skazi, between the 13th and 18th of July, with scheduled times, and in a virtual format. The event will be broadcast on the brand’s YouTube channel at 8 pm.
