Sophia Hegg launches a winter collection with comfort as its main feature
Brazilian women’s fashion brand Sophia Hegg announced the launch of the winter collection, entitled “Amanhecer da Nova Era”. The company, which is part of Texbrasil – (Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program) is the result of a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Exports and Investments Promotion Agency) – bet on comfort as the main feature of the collection.
“Comfort has always been one of the brand’s priorities,” says creator Sophia Hegg. “Now, with the pandemic, this characteristic is even stronger, because, after all, people are inside their homes and prioritize a comfortable piece to stay at home and style to bring high spirits at this moment,” she explains.
The “Amanhecer da Nova Era” collection brings aspects of the new moment we are living, in which the preservation of nature and life and cooperation have become more important. Hegg comments that one of the main elements of the collection is the bee, which symbolizes development, order, and biodiversity. “Amanhecer da Nova Era embraces new times, new looks, affection, warmth, and the comfort of staying at home”, says the creator.
The launch has several soft textures and fabrics that bring comfort and well-being. As in other collections, the new pieces are also rich in handicrafts. Check out below some of the looks:
Sustainability
Another outstanding aspect of the collection is sustainability. According to Sophia, many pieces are 100% made from recycled materials. “Sophia Hegg has always worked in a conscious and organic way, but this unique moment inevitably brought new looks and new inspirations, generating an even more conscious production and focused on the least possible impact on the environment”, adds the executive.
Now available in Brazil, the collection gradually reaches multibrands abroad, in the main points where Sophia Hegg operates. Currently the brand can be found in cities such as Miami, Houston, Cascais, Paris, Cartagena, and Bogotá.
