SPFW sets line up for A/W 2013

Luminosidade, the company that organizes Sao Paulo Fashion Week, announced the line up of the 2013 A/W Edition, which takes place between October 29 and 31 and on the morning of November 1. With fewer days than usual due to the adjustments required for the calendar change, the event will bring collections of 19 brands. Names such as Adriana Degreas, Cavalera and Iodice will not be present, and neither will Amapo, Jefferson Kulig and Andre Lima.

Other brands are seeking other alternatives to present their collections. It is the case of Neon and Fernanda Yamamoto, who are producing videos, by Animale, which prepares a digital lookbook, and designer Paula Raia, who will present an exhibition. The only brand that returns to the event is Marcia Garcia, by Huis Clos.

The venue this year is Parque Villa Lobos, which will bring the signature of artist Felipe Morozini in the decoration. The artist was inspired in glasshouses to develop event tents. Colcci, participant of Texbrasil (Brazilian Fashion Industry Export Program), developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency ), will be the modeling their collection on the second day of the fashion week.
