S/S 2016/17 collection from Marisol is adventurous and relaxed
Marisol is bringing easy-going items in the colors and shapes of nature and inspired by the outdoors to its S/S collection. The references come from campgrounds, whether in the countryside or along the shores of a lake or even in the back yard. The apparel brand for boys and girls ages 0 to 16 is a member of Texbrasil, the Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, the result of a partnership between Abit and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).
For girls, the brand has florals in joyful tones with delicate butterflies and the sea floor with corals, mermaids and ornamental fish, all in vibrant colors such as lime green, hot pink, flame orange and turquoise. Ethnic patchwork is a must-have for the season and comes in seasonal lengths: midi and mini skirts continue going strong as are jogging pants, but the big star is long dresses and sarouel jumpsuits. Another highlight is loose-cut overalls. Espadrilles and ballet flats come in gold, pink, mint green and lime to round out the fresh look of the Marisol girl.
For boys, extra light fabrics and prints recall days of adventure: foliage, palm trees and the exotic dessert cactus are found on T-shirts, trousers, shorts, polos, dress shirts, Bermuda shorts and tank tops in a natural trio of colors such as saffron, coral and army green and emerald. For feet, canvas slip-ons and casual dress shoes with zipper closures come in sizes ranging from baby to teen. Predominant footwear colors for boys are navy blue and brown, with red being the highlight. The star is a sporty tennis shoe with a vulcanized rubber sole and extra colorful shoelaces.
