Stylists showcase Brazilian fashion in Colombiatex 2013
With seats disputed in the audience, the fashion show performed by stylists Weider Silveiro and Lucas Devitte and Isadora Zendron, from Teodoro & Anita, presented to journalists and visitors the Brazilian fashion personality, in the From Brazil. Made with materials and textile fabrics of brands participating in the event, the collection conceived by the artists used cheerful and engaging colors and outfit. Colombiatex has the support of Texbrasil (Brazilian Fashion Industry Export Program), developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), which led 20 brands to Medellin, in addition to the stylists of the trade.
With a proposal inspired by the masculine tailoring movement with its straight cuts, Weider Silveiro presented the collection Deconstruction. Graduated from the Federal University of Ceara, Weider is one of the official stylists of Casa de Criadores (House of Creators).
Lucas and Isadora, who form the duo Teodoro & Anita, made their garments inspired by lost images of Brazilian surfers in the 1970s; the Brazil Vintage Collection consists of clippings, foldings and a lot of geometry, scoring the items where the key is comfort and practicality. The young stylists are the winners of the fourth edition of Projeto Ponto Zero (Project Ground Zero), organized by Abit and Texbrasil, Mercado Mundo Mix and Casa de Criadores (with support from Sinditextil-SP). The contest seeks new talent in fashion and styling, and among the prizes is a special performance in an event abroad.
Colombiatex is one of the largest trades in the textile sector that receives the latest industry innovations. The Brazilian brands taking part in the event are: Audaces, Canatiba, Cataguases, Cedro, Covolan, Delfa, Doptex, Farbe, Gvallone, Hudtelfa, Linhas Setta, Neotextil, Paramount, Ph Fit, Rhodia, Rosset, Tavex, Santanense, Vicunha and Zanotti.
