Organic colored cotton from Natural Cotton Color was once again at the Natural Products Expo West, a major sustainable trade show in the United States that ended on March 12, in Anaheim, California. The Paraiba-based brand, which is a member of Texbrasil – Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) – was overjoyed with the results of the event: “the show was fantastic, with high-level organic product customers who are really there to do business. The customers loved our products,” said Francisca Vieira, the company’s CEO.

During the event, the brand met with customers from various countries, such as Japan, Canada and Colombia, as well as from the Caribbean, doing USD 50,000 in business with an additional USD 30,000 expected over the next 12 months. The executive also said that participating in the event was essential to promoting new partnerships in the country and finding opportunities in the North American market. “In addition to the expected results, I learned that there is a market niche: there are others of the same kind as the Whole Foods supermarket chain, but that purchase more popular natural products. We are going to develop a line just for this type of customer,” adds the CEO. NCC showed its womenswear and accessories collection at Expo West, which gathered over 3,000 exhibitors and 77,000 attendees during the four days of the event.
