Texbrasil brands take part in Project Womens

Focused on contemporary and pioneering brands in streetwear, casualwear and jeanswear trends, Project Womens, previously known as Enkvegas, is scheduled to take place on August 17 to 19, in Las Vegas, in the U.S.A., and the event promises to bring good business to participating companies. Texbrasil, the Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) is supporting six brands at the event: Colcci, T. Arrigoni, Tigresse, Helorocha, Lucidez and YD Confeccoes.

This is Tigresse’s first international trade show and the brand’s good performance abroad will set the pace for its export process in the coming months. For CEO Otaviano Carvalho, this is a good time to see how foreign consumers see the brand’s products and to study the possibility of expanding its online sales to foreign countries. “Tigresse has a quite notable competitive edge, since what we make is unique in Brazil and I’m sure this will be a differential at international shows. We received great advice from export consultants and we believe that the brand is ready to position itself in other countries.”
