Texbrasil brings international journalists and buyers to Fashion Rio

Among April 15 and 19, Texbrasil (Brazilian Fashion Industry Export Program), developed by Abit in partnership in Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) will take  a group formed by eight buyers and thirteen journalists to Fashion Rio – S/S 2014. The edition, which receives debutants Maria Filo and Iodice, will take place at Marina da Gloria.

Coming from various parts of the planet, the buyers are representatives of the stores: Symbiose, from Lebanon; Sema Goker, from Turkey; Browns, from the United Kingdom; Alejandra Montaner, from Spain; and TE-Modas from Uruguay. The purpose is to strengthen partnerships with Brazilian brands, aimed at business promotion.

And, in order to divulge the Brazilian fashion and culture to the rest of the world, journalists of the following magazines will attend the event: The Huffington Post; Business of Fashion, Coolhunting and The New York Times (USA); Costume (Finland), Harper’s Bazaar (Mexico and Argentina); Reforma (Mexico), Vogue (Australia) and the bureaus of trends WGSN and Stylesight.
