Texbrasil holds business roundtables with sustainable brands at Brasil Eco Fashion Week
Texbrasil Program for the Internationalization of the Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry) — the result of a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), – is holding business roundtables for the Program’s sustainable brands as part of the Brasil Eco Fashion Week.
The sustainability event, which took place in September, featured fashion shows, panels, and workshops. Now, the Program supports brands by holding virtual rounds with international buyers. The attending companies are Helena Pontes, Libertees, Rico Bracco, Vestô, Contextura, Enéas Neto, Satya Beachwear, Timirim, and Dona Rufina, from Texbrasil.
“Our goal is to connect Brazilian brands with buyers who are also engaged in reducing environmental impacts and committed to the sustainability agenda”, comments the executive manager of Texbrasil, Lilian Kaddissi.
The meetings will be held until December 15th, and count on buyers from El Corte Inglés (Spain/Portugal), Cara & CO (Australia) and André Costa (Portugal).
BEFW, which takes place annually, is in its fifth edition, and in 2021 it had a special edition in Milan. The pioneering initiative took the group of brands to the product exhibitions and fashion shows in one of the most important fashion showcases in the world.
