Texbrasil hosts webinar on international certifications for the textile and apparel sector

Texbrasil hosted the webinar “International Certifications for the Textile and Apparel Sector,” a free online event that presented some of the key certifications used by the industry, such as OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, GOTS, and GRS

Held with the participation of experts from the certification bodies CITEVE and ECOCERT and moderated by Etiqueta Certa, the meeting addressed the characteristics, applications, and relevance of these certifications for companies seeking to expand their operations and meet the requirements of various international markets.

Support for international certifications

In addition to promoting access to information, Texbrasil supports companies interested in obtaining international certifications by covering expenses related to the process, in accordance with the criteria established in the initiative’s guidelines.

This initiative is part of the Program’s efforts to foster the internationalization and competitiveness of the Brazilian textile and apparel industry, helping companies prepare to meet the demands of global buyers and markets.
