Texbrasil invites international buyers to Fevest 2015
Considered one of the largest manufacturing centers for underwear in Brazil, Nova Friburgo, in the state of Rio de Janeiro, is hosting yet another edition of Fevest, August 2 to 4, at the city’s Country Club. The traditional beachwear, fitness and lingerie show features trends for S/S 2016 from 78 companies, including clothing manufacturers and suppliers.
In an effort to strengthen ties with Brazilian companies and publicize products made in Brazil, Texbrasil, the Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), invited three international buyers to the show: Regina Batista, of Lunas Intimo (Italy), Audrey Vieira, of Dejardim (USA), and Lenia Venturini, of Lilium Rios Lingerie (Italy).
A total of six Texbrasil member brands are confirmed for the show: De Chelles, Lucitex, Roupa de Baixo, Sapeka, Terlizzi and Zanotti. At the last edition, held in August 2014, the companies did USD 510,000 in business, with expectations to bring in around USD 785,000 in subsequent months.
