Texbrasil labels take part in Premiere Vision New York
From July 21 to 22, New York’s Pier 92 is hosting the F/W edition of Premiere Vision New York, a show gathering over 300 companies working with fabrics and accessories as well as print studios. Texbrasil, the Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) is supporting two brands at the event: Savyon, a circular knit fabric manufacturer, and design studio Elaia.
According to Bruno Hansen, manager at Elaia, exporting Brazilian creativity is a unique achievement. “We worked hard in these first nine months of the company for this to become a reality, but we never imagined we would be able to attend an international show so quickly. All of our efforts are now going to overcoming the challenge of being a good representative of our country,” he says. Laurent Prout, Savyon’s export manager, adds: “Taking part in shows is the best way to find new clients and international representatives.”
The company’s new product launches will share space with seminars on trends for the coming seasons and a roundtable on “Anticipation, a New Fashion System.”
