Yves Carcelle, ex CEO da LVMH, fala ao fim do primeiro dia do WRC sobre as características e desafios da atual indústria do luxo.

From October 7 to 9, in Paris, the World Retail Congress is welcoming executives from the textile industry and industry leaders to discuss international retail and its challenges. Talks will cover topics such as social concerns, economics, policy and ethics, as well as the current features of retail to keep up with these evolutions.

The competitive intelligence area at Texbrasil (Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program), developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), is taking part in the event to discuss the new topics up for debate and pass them on to Program participants through its newsletters and market studies.

The World Retail Congress shows the best of what is happening internationally and that can influence retailers around the world. Paris was the city chosen for the meeting because more than 10.5 million people visit the city for business, it hosts around 400 textile trade shows per year and it is internationally known as being a center for and having excellence in apparel.
