Texbrasil – Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, promoted by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil – is one of the partners of businesswoman Alice Ferraz in implementing the Brasil e o Sol da Meia Noite project, a pop-up store that will bring Brazilian fashion to Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, during the month of August. The idea promises to open the doors of the Swedish market to national brands and provide for an exchange of values between the two countries in fashion, beauty and lifestyle.Among selected products that promise to delight Europeans are the very Brazilian bikinis of Triya, Tigresse prints, the unique perspective of FIT, the coveted jewels of Carla Amorim, knitwear with a crafty soul by Cecilia Prado, the impeccable cuts of Pat Pat’s, Julie Chermam’s mix of fashion and art, the hand-crafted work with social engagement of Dois Elles, and Granado, the oldest drugstore in Brazil, with its plant-based products. The Magrella, NK Store and Cartel 011 boutiques will go to Stockholm with the aim of identifying talents in Swedish fashion and exclusively bringing their creations to Brazil.

To further shake up this mega project, Vogue Brazil magazine will publish an exclusive editorial, mixing Brazilian and national brands.Walmart.com, another partner, will recreate the Brazilian pop-up store in virtual territory. Also participating in the event are bloggers from the F*hits network, offering millions of followers their take on the project and the scene in the Swedish city.

Brazilian brands participating: Carla Amorim; Cecilia Prado; Debora Mangabeira; Dois Elles; Dudalina; Fit; Granado; Julie Chermann; Pat Pat’s; Riachuelo; Tigresse and Triya.

To celebrate this launch, the organizers set up a Brazilian beachwear pop-up store with 16 brands over three days: 2Rios Lingerie, Adriana Degreas, ANK Swimwear, Blue Man, Brigitte by Fernanda Maia, Cecilia Prado Mare, Desiree Nercessian, Despi, Guria Beachwear, Lemons & Limes, Lenny Niemeyer, Lisa Riedt, Loer Beachwear, Sauipe Swimwear, Sinesia Karol and Sol & Energia.
