Texbrasil welcomes Falabella Argentina for business talks
On April 28 and 29, Texbrasil, the Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), will host Falabella Argentina for business talks with Brazilian companies at Abit headquarters in Sao Paulo. Sales representatives from various segments of Falabella will attend the meetings with over 20 Brazilian brands, at which Texbrasil members will also be present.
“The Falabella Argentina Group contacted us and were interested in holding talks with the participation of exporters in the home fabrics sector as well as in womenswear, menswear and childrenswear,” says Rodolfo Yamada, a Texbrasil representative. Earlier this month, the Program met with Juan Pablo Lambertucci, the foreign trade manager for the retail chain, during the Program’s participation in the Emitex, Simatex and Confemaq textile trade shows in Argentina.
With 11 stores in Argentina, located chiefly in the greater Buenos Aires metro region, Falabella is the country’s biggest department store which, in addition to its brick and mortar stores, also has an online store that sells womenswear, menswear, sportswear and accessories. The brand also has locations in other countries in South America, in Colombia, Peru and Chile, the country where it was founded.
