Texbrasil Wins Apex-Brazil Award in the Business Intelligence Category
Last Tuesday (13), Alpha Theater in Sao Paulo (SP) hosted the ceremony of the 4th Apex-Brazil Prize – To Export is To Innovate. Promoted by the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brazil), the award honors sector organizations, businesses and stories that have excelled in the areas of export and attraction of investments to Brazil.
Texbrasil (Brazilian Fashion Industry Export Program), developed by Abit in partnership with the Agency, received for the third time the trophy for “Business Intelligence as Differential for Results”. Rodhia, a participant of the project, was also included in the category “Innovation as Competitive Edge”.
The purpose of the award, established in 2006 and held every two years, is to recognize, in the foreign trade field, those who excelled by their outstanding contribution to the development of the country. “Our intention is to socialize best practices and to reward the efforts of organizations and businesses that have successful experiences in the international market using important tools to increase their competitiveness, such as business intelligence, innovation and sustainability”, said Mauricio Borges, president of Apex-Brasil.
The Award comprises 19 categories, with five oriented to sector organizations that have developed projects for export promotion in partnership with the Agency. As to exporting firms that are participants of the Agency’s Sector Projects, they compete in four.
