Textiles present innovations in Colombiatex

01/22/2013

One of the largest trades in the textile sector in Latin America, Colombiatex, starts today.  Supported by Texbrasil (Brazilian Fashion Industry Export Program), developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), major Brazilian brands present themselves in the city of Medellin, between the 22nd and 24th of January.

The weaving company Tavex takes to the event pieces, themes and trends that compose their S/S 2014 collection; Vicunha shows visitors new proposals from CARBOLumen and Vintage Leather lines, with a unique color chart to highlight the leather look of denim and twill. Colors are also a highlight in Vicunha’s ECO-D indigos, made from polyester derived from plastic bottles.

With cosmetotextiles innovations, Rhodia announces its advances on the trade with new technology applications of Emana polyamide textile filaments. Established in Brazil, it is one of the highlights of the company in this edition; it is also the main exhibition of products and technologies in the industry in Latin America. Emana is a polyamide yarn with bioactive minerals incorporated in its polymer matrix that promotes a unique interaction between fabric and skin, improving blood microcirculation and cell metabolism.
