International journalists learn about Texbrasil brands during SPFW
From March 13 to 17, the city of Sao Paulo will welcome the biggest names in Brazilian fashion at the Fundacao Bienal in Ibirapuera Park, for the 43rd Sao Paulo Fashion Week. At the invitation of Texbrasil – the Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, the result of a partnership between Abit and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) – two international journalists came to Brazil to take a firsthand look at the latest from Program member brands with fashion shows at the event.
In addition to attending the Fashion Week presentations, the invited journalists Sophie Marguerite Warburton, publisher of The Telegraph (England), and Shannon Wylie, editor-in-chief of Buro 24/7 (Arab Emirates), will participate in an agenda with visits to boutiques and showrooms in the city. SPFW N43, having officially adopted the new “see-now, buy-now” format, and synchronizing its calendar with the retail sector, will present eight Texbrasil-participating brands in the line-up: Animale, Apartamento 03, GIG and PatBo, as well as newcomers Fabiana Milazzo, Helen Rödel, Tigresse and Vale da Seda.
