Thirty companies will represent Brazilian fashion in New York

In the coming weeks, major national brands will participate in major actions aimed at the fashion market in the United States, with the support of Texbrasil, Fashion Label Brasil and Brazilian Footwear, programs carried out through partnerships between ApexBrasil (Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency), Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association), Abest (Brazilian Association of Fashion Designers) and Abicalçados (Brazilian Association of Footwear Industries).

 

Between September 18th and 20th, Coterie will receive collections and releases from innovative brands in Brazil that have the United States as a target market for the coming years. The companies confirmed at the fair are: Borana, Cristina Sabatini, Emi Beachwear, Eneida França, Lalibela, Maria Pavan, Maria Mercié, Matilda, Paola Bernardi, Tata Knitwear, Verosenso, of Texbrasil, Andreza Chagas, Archai, Catarina Mina, Gapaz, Gissa Bicalho, Lavish, Lis FiaschiNádia Gimenes, Pitaia, Sabine Arias, Serpui, Tai Dai, of Abest, and Gio Bernardes by Programa Precious Brazil, of IBGM. Footwear and accessory brands, Salts and Schutz, of Abicalçados, are also part of the Brazilian delegation. 

Magic NY, which takes place in the same period in the city, will receive the brands Vestito Per Te, Virechic and Zinzane, of Texbrasil, where they will present women’s trends, modern sportswear, footwear, accessories and so on. 

“The United States is a very important market for us and we could not fail to participate in this edition of Coterie e Magic.  We came with very strong brands and I am sure they will do good business”, commented Lilian Kaddissi, Executive Superintendent of Strategic Projects at Abit, regarding the presence of Brazilian companies in events of this type in the United States. 

Featured Brazilian fashion 

Of all Brazilian companies participating in Coteire, five of them will also be at the event with the support of Sebrae Nacional in conjunction with the Texbrasil Program: Borana, Emi Beachwear, Tai Dai, Pitaia and Salts. 

And Sebrae Nacional will also promote other actions with a group of 11 Brazilian brands also in New York, in a parallel business agenda and an event to be held at the Brazilian Consulate, on September 16th. In addition to the five brands above, the following brands also participate in the action: Chame Biojoias, Lapa Shoes, Gustavo Eyewear, Zaith Joias, Ph Praia and Pernambucana da Gema.
