Trade mission brings Brazilian companies closer to the Greek market

10/07/2026

From October 12 to 16, 2026, Brazilian companies are participating in a trade mission in Athens, Greece, to expand connections with local buyers and partners and identify business opportunities. This is Texbrasil’s first initiative in the Greek market in over 20 years of the Program’s existence. The initiative is promoted by Texbrasil (Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program), a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) and ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).

The agenda brings together seven Brazilian brands—Ammi, Bela Brand, Dalai Beachwear, Dress To, Ene Ene, Lenny Niemeyer, and Panô—and promotes meetings, networking, and commercial exchange. With diverse styles and identities, the brands represent different expressions of national fashion and are bringing their creations to a new platform for international connection.

“The trade mission is an opportunity to present Brazilian brands, get to know the local market, and establish relationships with potential partners. The schedule will also allow companies to experience the Greek business environment firsthand and identify opportunities for operation,” explains Gabriella Sampaulo, Trade Promotion Coordinator of the Texbrasil Program.

Approaching new markets is an important step for companies seeking to expand their international presence. Initiatives like this foster the exchange of experiences, strengthen commercial connections, and help the diversity and creativity of Brazilian fashion reach new audiences.

“With this initiative, Texbrasil reinforces its work in connecting Brazilian fashion with the international market, creating space for meetings, relationships, and new business perspectives between the two countries,” concludes Gabriella.
