Tranoi and Vendome: French showrooms welcome Brazilian representatives
From March 6 to 9, seven Brazilian brands will be in Paris to take part in two traditional French showrooms. JouliK, T. Arrigoni, Fabiana Milazzo and Patricia Motta are presenting their A/W collections at Tranoi, while Patricia Bonaldi, Pat Bo and Anamaria Couture will be at Vendome Luxury. The companies are going with the support of Texbrasil, the Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).
Tranoi is more than a sales showroom; it is an artistic platform that selects around 1000 premium designers from around the world, joining stands, art exhibits, fashion shows and parties in just one place. With locations in three different areas of the city – Palais de La Bourse, Carrousel Du Louvre and Avenue Montaigne – the event is the right destination for anyone looking for innovative work. Karen Moraes, the creative director of the JouliK brand, is already anxious to take part in her first international show. “We know that the start isn’t easy; the international market is very competitive and demanding, but we are positive,” she says, also telling Texbrasil that she will be bringing a product mix of t-shirts, skirts, jackets and dresses for the brand’s A/W collection, yet to be launched in Brazil.
JouliK is known for its hand embroidery and ample use of bugle beads and sequins. Karen believes that it is important to take part in international events. “Today the world is so connected, so it is important that we be in as many places as possible. We have great access to the website and Instagram followers in other countries, and the show ends up being a chance to show our work, reach international buyers and be able to better serve our far-away customers,” says Karen.
Vendome Luxury is a show famous for featuring different areas of the high-end industry. Apparel, accessories, jewelry, perfume, cosmetics and technology companies meet at the Hotel Le Meurice and Hotel D’Evreux to show their most exclusive products. Vendome is always a good example of how successful Brazilian creations are in Paris, reinforcing the importance of fashion exports. In September of last year, the companies at the luxury showroom saw total revenue of USD 461,250, with additional sales expectations for the months following the event of over USD 1.3 million.
