Tranoi and Vendome present Brazilian A/W collections

03/12/2013

French Tranoi and Vendome, whose latest edition finished on the 4th of this month, received Brazilian brands such as Alessa, Patricia Bonaldi/Pat Bo, Vivaz, Mabel Magalhaes and Anamaria Couture, participants of Texbrasil (Brazilian Fashion Industry Export Program), developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).

With a strong commercial appeal, Tranoi receives the brands of women’s clothing and accessories. There, the brand Alessa presented the collection “Celtic Boudoir”, which reinterprets times of uncertainty and transition. The pieces are made with wool, leather with aluminum foil and metallic sequins with silver leaves. The moulage style creates a silhouette with a touch of mystery.

As to Vendome, which specializes in luxury accessories and clothing, it showed the best outfits of women’s high end Brazilian brands.  Anamaria Couture presented a “effortlessly chic” style, with light and fluid dresses, and an elegant color palette. To Catia Macedo, representative of the brand, the support of Texbrasil was essential for the successful presence at the event: “The incentive of the Program is very important for all companies involved, for it helps us to seek new markets and business”.

For A/W 2013, Mabel Magalhaes launched a collection of luxury clothing made of lace, embroidery and tulle dresses with bold colors exploring different materials influenced by Art Deco and Art Nouveau styles and by the Baroque movement. Pat Bo, of designer Patricia Bonaldi, proposes a nostalgic return to the circus, using vibrant shades like pink, blue, gold and red. The proposal is to mix fabrics, prints, lace, pearls and enameled materials. Meanwhile, its other line which bears its name sought inspiration from the Indian culture, with fabrics in varying textures, shapes and patterns, giving movement to the pieces. The goal is to exalt the modern and contemporary woman.

As to references from Royal Road, Vivaz rescued in its origin the baroque embroidery, playing the church windows. The work, done mostly with Swarovski crystals, reflects the brilliance of gemstones.
