The Brazilian group includes Amir Slama, Brennheisen, Fabiana Milazzo, GIG, IT BAG, Joulik, Lucas Magalhães, Sinesia Karol, Skazi, Vitor Zerbinato and Helena Caio, all members of Texbrasil (Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program) and Fashion Label Brasil – programs carried out through partnerships between Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) and ABEST (Brazilian Association of Fashion Designers), respectively.

The Brazilian companies are showing their S/S collections to buyers from around the world at Tranoi. These include the Fabiana Milazzo brand, which is using the event to show its Vida collection to the public, which will also be shown on the runway at LA Fashion Week and at the Minas Trend event held in Brazil.

According to Renata Horta, who is with the brand’s team, Tranoi provides a unique opportunity: “this is a highly regarded show, bringing together original and artful collections, with a profile very much in line with our pieces,” she says.  And she adds that the brand’s target markets are Europe, the Middle East and Russia.

According to Lilian Kaddissi, Executive Manager at Texbrasil, Tranoi is the perfect environment for the brands to prospect business. “The European market is highly competitive, which is why we are bringing a group of brands to the event that are prepared and have high value-added products. Lucas Magalhaes, for instance, has tailored his collection to the European market, guaranteeing a surefire strategy to close deals,” she says in closing.
