Tranoï ends with positive results for Brazilian brands
On October 02 ended the ’18 Spring/Summer edition of Tranoï, the renowned women’s clothing, beach fashion, accessories and jewelry trade fair dedicated to contemporary brands, held twice a year at prestigious locations in Paris (France). Counting on the support of Brazilian fashion export programs Fashion Label Brasil, sponsored by ABEST (Brazilian Association of Fashion Designers), and Texbrasil (Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program), sponsored by Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association), both in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil), brands Amir Slama, Maria Pavan and Vitor Zerbinato took part in event and have returned to Brazil with excellent business results.
Altogether, they closed business deals amounting to US$ 145 thousand during the trade fair, with estimates pointing to US$ 650 thousand more in the next 12 months. In addition to that, they also established contacts with purchasers, distributors and wholesalers from 10 different countries, such as the Arab Emirates, France, Italy, Lebanon, Turkey, Russia, the United States, Egypt, Kuwait, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
For Andrea Sanchez, from brand Vitor Zerbinato, their participation in the last edition has been highly satisfactory. “We made new contacts and purchasers seem to be very interested in our products”, she said. The brand presented its ’18 Summer party collection during the event, as well as a capsule collection especially developed for the international market. “The capsule collection developed for this trade fair met with huge success, while attracting purchasers to our booth, because it has balanced the average price of items. And so purchasers were willing to know the rest of our collection”, she explained.
Amir Slama also believes this trade fair is extremely important to exhibit collections. “Tranoï is like a showcase, an event that closes the Summer season shows and is essential for those who want to introduce their work to an international audience”, claimed the fashion designer.
Tranoï gathers approximately 450 expositors and welcomes around 8 thousand visitors, including purchasers, business representatives and national and international press. Its next edition has already been scheduled to January 19, 2018.
