Trend House by Haco shows a compilation on the fashion industry
The eighth edition of “Trend House by Haco” magazine featured a compilation of various segments in the fashion industry for the May issue. Created by Haco – a member brand of Texbrasil, the Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) – among other topics, the magazine discusses the profile of the owner of Malwee and an article on digital influencers.
The magazine also has a report on the last edition of Sao Paulo Fashion Week, an event that brought the partnership between Haco and designer Ronaldo Fraga to the runway. The designer talks about the inspiration for the items shown at the event, which had patches made exclusively for the collection. “This partnership is a sign of the importance of breaking the enormous distance that still exists in Brazil between the designer and the industry,” says Ronaldo.
Over eight pages, the Shades of Jeans special shows possible looks for this fabric and information on the segment, highlighting that around four billion denim items are produced annually worldwide. According to the book “Denim Dudes,” by Any Leverton of WGSN, around 50% of people in the world where the fabric. In Brazil, according to IEMI – Market Intelligence – 362.6 million items were produced in 2014, with a nominal production value of BRL 8.1 billion, up 4.7% compared to 2013.
On the next few pages, an article on Jacquard on the Runway talks about the weave invented by Joseph Marie Jacquard and applications used by the Gucci, Carolina Herrera and Rochas brands. With technology and creativity, Haco was one of the first companies to produce this type of fabric in Brazil.
