Brazil will be represented by 23 brands at Coterie New York with the support of Texbrasil (Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program), founded by Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) in partnership with ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency). The event is one of the largest women’s fashion, footwear and accessory trade shows in the United States. It will be held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center on February 21-23.

The Brazilian delegation also includes the participation of Abest (Brazilian Association of Fashion Designers), IBGM (Brazilian Institute of Gems and Precious Metals) and Abicalçados (Brazilian Association of Footwear Industries).

“We are growing year by year at the winter Coterie and we expect to increase even more business and contacts in this edition” highlights Lilian Kaddissi, superintendent of strategic projects at Abit, when analyzing the weight of Brazil’s participation in this relevant international trade show.

For Kaddissi, the  differentials of Brazilian fashion in terms of sustainability, innovation and design are preponderant factors. “We did our homework and we are prepared to strengthen brand promotion and strengthen important commercial relationships in New York”.

Coterie’s mission will be integrated by these 23 brands:  Paola Bernardi, Maria Pavan, Lalibela, Matilda Headpieces, Eneida França, Andreza Chagas, Marie Mercié, Oitici, Viviane Furrier, Louisa, Tarliza Schall, Tássia Ely, Schutz, Melissa, Cristina Sabatini – APPAREL, Leticia Manzan, Gissa Bicalho, Blanca Leone, Lavish, Nádia Gimenes, Serpui, Rosana Bernardes and Cristina Sabatini – ACCESSORIES.

Coterie New York is the premier trade event for contemporary women’s apparel, footwear and accessories, connecting emerging and established brands and designers to an elite roster of national and international retailers, influencers and media.
