Victor Dzenk dresses Gaby Amarantos for show at Cannes Festival
This year, the traditional Brazil Film party during the Cannes Festival included a show by Para native Gaby Amarantos. Designer Victor Dzenk was invited by Texbrasil (Brazilian Fashion Industry Export Program), a Program developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), to design the Amazon-inspired look that the singer wore at the show.
Among the 800 guests that attended the event at Plage Le Goéland were Brazilian and international professionals from the cinematography industry, such as Jeróme Paillard, the Director of Marché Du Film; Sérgio Sá Leitão, the President of Rio Filme; Eduardo Valente, an international adviser for Ancine; and various filmmakers and producers.
Also in attendance were Brazilian actors and actresses, including Márcio Garcia, Simone Spoladore, Bruno Gagliasso, Giovanna Ewbank and Mariana Rios. The event was held last night, May 20, as part of the programming for Momento Brasil, an initiative to promote Brazilian film and products executed by Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) and by Siaesp (Audiovisual Industry Guild of the State of Sao Paulo).
