Vozsi, a children’s beachwear brand, is the newest participant in Texbrasil (Program for the Internationalization of the Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry) — the result of a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Association of the Textile and Apparel Industry) and Apex- Brazil (Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency).

The company was created with the purpose of giving a voice to children, allowing their identities to be built from an early age, and giving them the perspective of being able to say what they think, to protect themselves, and defend their ideas when necessary.

Created in 2018, the company operates via B2B e-commerce, incorporating sustainable processes throughout the chain. “We are a “slow fashion” company that prioritizes local resources. We supply products that have functional longevity and that remain fashionable, we do the reverse logistics of our packaging and look for transparent production systems” explains the brand’s business development, Maira Marostica.

For the executive, Vozsi is a brand that speaks to a post-pandemic world. “Today, there is a need for a lighter, more natural and self-confident world, as well as respect for our inner voice becomes more and more urgent”, comments Maira.

Currently, the company works with outsourced apparel companies and has a production capacity of 10,000 items per month. Operating throughout Brazil, Vozsi also sells to Europe but wants to expand markets. “Our objective is to be ambassadors of Brazil abroad, carrying a sustainable local brand, with high technical quality, unique design, and purpose. We count on Texbrasil’s support and experience for this”, she adds.

Fairy tales

To put its concepts into practice, Vozsi launched the Fairytale collection, which includes bikinis, boxers and toels. The pieces were made with fabric with FPS50+ double sun protection and invisible seams, offering protection and comfort.

The prints were artistically developed in watercolor and portray tales that materialize the habits and challenges of children through the forest animals, such as rabbits and raccoons. Designed to be used beyond the beach, the collection also includes a boot and accessories.
