WGSN launches platform with free content
In August, WGSN launched its new digital platform, WGSN Insider, offering an insight into the lives of the global trend forecaster’s editors and other “insiders” from the fashion, interiors, design and creative worlds. The site is in English and offers free content that is updated daily, with articles by professionals from various sectors of the industry, such as catwalks, denim, youth, beauty, lifestyle & interiors, marketing and technology.
Readers can also sign up for a daily newsletter to receive exclusive blog content by e-mail. All of the platform’s material is edited by Sara McCorquodale, WGSN senior editor, special projects, and by WGSN global chief content officer, Carla Buzasi, who will also make regular contributions, including a weekly round-up.
The company’s main platform, whose content is restricted to subscribers, publishes over 350 reports a month with in-depth analysis, insight and data on the industry, while WGSN Insider offers a sample of this entire process.
“Our editors travel the world meeting designers, artists, architects, retailers, entrepreneurs, photographers and more, and with WGSN Insider, we’ll be sharing a little bit of those journeys and the characters we meet along the way,” says Buzasi.
WGSN is a partner of Texbrasil, the Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).
