Who’s Next Paris features Brazilian brands and young talent from Ponto Zero

The spring/summer 2014 edition of Who’s Next Prêt-a-Porter Paris will be special. In addition to welcoming Texbrasil (the Brazilian Fashion Industry Export Program, which was developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil – Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) member brands, up and coming young fashion designers will also show their collections for the first time at the international trade show.

The Ponto Zero Showcase Project will take top names in the future of Brazilian fashion to the trade fair, including the Helen Rödel, Der Metropol, Gralias, Cynthia Hayashi, Trendt, Karin Feller, Gabriela Sakate and Spirodiro brands, which will arrive in Paris fresh from an event at the Brazilian Embassy in London.

With 2,000 exhibitors, including apparel and accessory brands, and an expected 50,000 visitors, among fashion professionals and buyers, Who’s Next is divided by segments. Apparel consists of the following areas: Fame, which covers select labels and womenswear designers chosen from a range of professionals; Private, which features the main exhibitors in the womenswear market; and Mr & Mrs Brown, which is geared exclusively towards the menswear and urban style publics. This area selects the best denim manufacturers and shows streetwear, lifestyle and casualwear collections.

Distinctions in the accessories section include: Premiere Classe, featuring big-name designer collections and other interesting labels, chosen based on criteria such as creativity, uniqueness and style; Who’s Next Accessories, combining the sector’s four main categories – footwear, jewelry, leather goods and luggage – selected by specialized industries; and Mr & Mrs Brown Accessories, which rounds out the categories by offering a selection of urban accessories.
