Who’s Next: traditional international trade show welcomes Brazilian brands

12/19/2014

Twice a year, Paris hosts Who’s Next, a casualwear trade show focused on high added-value apparel and accessories. The F/W 2015 edition will take place from January 23 to 26 and Texbrasil (Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit and Apex-Brasil) is supporting nine brands attending: Teca por Helo Rocha, PatBo, Lucas Magalhaes, Karin Feller, Trendt, Cynthia Hayashi, Der Metropol, Gralias and Reptilia.

Each edition features runway shows, trend forums and conferences. Around 750 exhibitors are confirmed for the trade show, which is known for its five different areas of fashion: Fame, Private, Trendy, Urban and Studio. Fame has new and young designers, while internationally renowned brands with lots of market potential are found in Private. Trendy has more affordable and fast-fashion brands and the Urban category holds companies geared towards denim and streetwear. Finally, casual ready-to-wear brands are found in the Studio area.

Who’s Next is attended by 60,000 people and is one of the world’s most traditional fashion shows. The July 2014 edition hosted 10 Texbrasil companies, who ended the show with an expected USD 320,000 in sales.
